Hello everyone. I hope you had a great summer and are looking forward to the fair! It was a beautiful day for being the middle of September.
From greenhouses to log cabins... the fair is really taking shape. There was a lot of activity on the west end of the fairgrounds today with people preparing their stands for the upcoming crowds of people who will be treading these grounds in a week and a half.
A couple of guys from Reithoffer's came up to mark the rides today. The layout is extremely out of the norm Most everything has ben shifted around on the East end and there have been several changes in Kiddie Land as well. For a complete ride list Click Here. The rides will be arriving early Monday morning. There are a few spaces that have not been marked. If I find any more information before Monday I will post it to the ride list.
New this year... the Weis Markets within a 50 mile radius of the fairgrounds have what is being called a mega pass. For $12 you get a pass good for any one day of the fair including weekends. What this intitles you to is unlimited rides from 11:00 A.M. to Closing. You need to present the mega pass to the ticket booth in exchange for a wristband. You will need one mega pass per person per day you wish to take advantage of the offer. These will be available at the service desk from September 11th to September 24th. The price does not include admission to the fairgrounds.
The Barton House has gotten a new fence and there are a lot more benches around the fairgrounds this year.
