Hello everyone. Today turned out much like yesterday, cold in the morning but warmer as the day progressed. All in all there was hardly a cloud in the sky and the tempurature hit the mid 70s. Tomorrow is supposed to be even warmer.
There is a lot of activity as more and more stands get ready for opening day, less than a week away. The game stands are being stocked with prizes, the food stands are getting prepared and the merchants are also getting their displays ready. There are still several empty spots but I'm sure they won't be for long.
There were still a few rides that needed set up such as the Wild Claw, Speed, & Pharoah's Fury. The Storm looks like it will be quite the ride. It seems that the whole platform spins, the seats are also on two seperate platforms which spin and the seats themselves spin. The ride sits at an angle. I'm not sure if the platform raises or not but I will let you know as soon as I find out. Remember, you only have until Friday to get your Mega Pass for the rides. Each pass costs $17.00 and is good for unlimited rides for one person any one day. If you need more information on how to obtain them email me and put "Mega Pass" in the subject line. Otherwise, handstamp days are Tuesday, Thursday, & Friday
