Hello everyone. I don't think you could ask for a nicer day. It was a chilly start but warmed up quickly with temperatures in the mid to upper 70s and nothing but sunshine. Tomorrow is supposed to be even warmer. Let's hope the trend holds for next week.

The spaces are getting filled up fast as time draws near to the start of the fair. Most everywhere you look there is a flurry of activity as people prepare for Saturday's big crowds.

Many of the game stands are moving in on the east end of the grounds. It looks like there will be a variety of colorful prizes to choose from.

I found out more about Storm. It does rotate on three different points as I had described yesterday but it does not lift up. Reithoffer's got it last year at the spot they go to following this fair. It promises to be a stomach churning ride!

All the rides are set up with the exception of the Yo-Yo and Hot Pink Slide. Those will be finished today. Otherwise, today was spent touching up the paint on several rides and some stands. The state inspectors should be here to inspect the rides tomorrow so they are ready for riders Friday, the unofficial first day.
My next report will be posted tomorrow. I hope to begin the progressive reports soon. Be sure to check out the video and pictures of the day. Also, remember that if there is anything you would like me to report on just email me and I will see what I can do to accommodate.
