Hello everyone. Today was by far the perfect day. There was hardly a cloud in the sky and the temperatures hit the low 80s. Tomorrow is supposed to be cloudy in the morning but clear up to be much the same so there should be a good crowd for opening day.
Not a lot of people were walking around this morning but as the day went on more and more decided to get a glimpse of what the fair will have to offer all week.
Not all of the stands were open, but, there were still quite a few looking to get a jump on sales. It was a slow start but as the day went on business picked up as more people walked around. Food seemed to be the biggest draw for most.
The rides were open for business but there didn't seem to be anyone looking to ride today so they sat motionless for most of the day.
The entertainment for the Millennium Hall Stage has now been added to the free shows section so be sure to check it out. Also, the show times for the Tigers is 1:00 p.m., 4:00 p.m., & 7:00 p.m. daily.
