Not a Cloud in the Sky Hot and Hazy

Hello everyone. Today was a hot one! Temperatures hit the mid to upper 80s and tomorrow is going to be even warmer. There wasn't a cloud in the sky but if you looked off into the distance there was a haze.

Decent Crowd Good Crowd

The attendance for yesterday was 45,111. There was a decent crowd today. I think we hit it pretty close to yesterday's total.

Ryan Pelton Fiddle Contest

Today was the last day for Ryan Pelton to be performing this week. He drawed a large crowd to each show. There was a fiddle contest tonight. Tomorrow night at 7:00 p.m. there will be a banjo contest.

Dog Show Dog Show

For 50 cents you can see what is possible the oldest dog show in the USA. It is located near the Poultry and Rabbit building. Inside you will find various dogs rangeing in size from tiny to huge.

Rides A Few Riders

There weren't many people riding today even though there was the handstamp option. Thursday's handstamp might draw a larger crowd of riders. Those who were riding seemed to be having fun.

Artic Express Pirate Vince's Cheesesteaks

The owner of Artic Express has gone all out this year as he tries to draw attention to his stand by dressing like a pirate. They have a unique iced drink you should try. Another popular stand is Vince's Cheesesteaks. They always have a long line of customers.

My next report will be posted tomorrow. I hope to begin the progressive reports soon. Be sure to check out the video and pictures of the day. Also, remember that if there is anything you would like me to report on just email me and I will see what I can do to accommodate.
