Sling Shot

The Sling Shot is manufactured by Chance Amusements. It is a single trailer portable ride. The tower lifts into position with hydraulic cylinders. The total height to the top of the tower is 105 feet and requires a 40 foot width clearance. The total power requirements is 100 kW. That's 40 kW for the lighting and 60 kW for the motor.

It seats 12 people per ride with a minimum height requirement of 48 inches and a maximum total passenger weight of 2,040 pounds.

There are two different ride settings. Short is a 30 second ride and long is a minute. The maximum acceleration is +4.0G / -1.0G delivered via a charged hydraulic catapult drive system.

The ride features locking over-the-shoulder bar plus seat belt. To insure your enjoyment and comfort please follow the rules and keep your head back against the seat throughout the ride.
