For over 75 years, the Tilt-A-Whirl has been creating fun and excitement. With bright colored cars and whirling motion, it attracts children and adults of all ages. Over the years, it has continued to grow in popularity. The Tilt-A-Whirl has been entertaining families for generations, it is now one of the best known and most loved amusement rides.

Each of its seven cars can hold four adults or six children. Each car has a weight capacity of 800 pounds. In an hour's time, the Tilt-A-Whirl can handle over 500 passengers.

It is the random tipping and spinning of the Tilt-A-Whirl's seven cars that make this ride so much fun. The Tilt-A-Whirl is a platform type ride that is based on a circular track of bridge type construction. The seven Tilt-A-Whirl cars are fixed to a pivot pin on each platform. The revolving platforms roll over hills and valleys causing centrifugal and gravitational forces upon the cars causing the to tip and spin randomly.

Sellner has a reputation for manufacturing top rides and the Tilt-A-Whirl is no exception. Specially designed and constructed with the finest materials, the Tilt-A-Whirl is a low maintenance ride that will stand the test of time. The Tilt-A-Whirl car is constructed of steel, aluminum and fiberglass for durability and a lasting appearance. A coat of enamel primer is applied before a quality acrylic enamel finish and colorful decals are added. The one piece car top is built entirely of fiberglass. Headrest cushions line the top for passenger comfort. Strong, waterproof night covers are furnished for the cars and help protect them from the elements. The car and intermediate platforms are constructed using a box frame, fourteen gauge steel and steel tubing. All platforms are easily connected with durable hinge pins. The supporting structure of the ride is composed of galvanized steel angle and T-iron.

The average set-up time is 3 hours with four people and take-down time is 2 1/2 hours with four people.
